Mardi Gras Gaming opened its doors under the name of “The Hollywood Kennel Club” on December 1st, 1934.  A new grandstand building was added to accommodate not only live greyhound racing but also simulcast wagering on greyhound, harness and thoroughbred racing.

Mardi Gras Gaming offers South Floridians and visitors much more than just greyhound racing.  In December 2006, over 1100 Vegas-style slots were added to the totally renovated 1st floor.  There is also a poker room and an Outdoor Flea Market on weekends. On May 23, 2008 the third floor Balcony opened offering a couple hundred additional slot machines. You will also find various dining options from a fast bite to a relaxed, casual dining experience.
